Global Find and Replace: Replacing All ASCII Straight Quotation Marks (") with Curved Chinese Ones (“”)

(a) Open Find and Replace dialog box, use Advanced mode, check the “Use wildcard” box. In the Find box, key in "*", and in the Replace box, key in ^&^&, press the button Replace All. This will replace each right straight quotation mark with two straight quotation marks ("").

(b) Replace "" with &&.

(c) Replace each straight quotation mark, i.e. the left one (") with a space and a left curved Chinese quotation mark (“).

(d) Replace each space and left curved Chinese quotation mark (“) with left curved Chinese quotation mark (“).

(e) Replace each && with a right curved Chinese quotation mark (”).
