Yangsheng JI is now a Ph.D. candidate in Department of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University. He is a member of NLP Lab and he is under the supervison of Prof. Jiajun CHEN and Prof. Lin SHANG. He received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University in 2006 and became a Ph.D candidate without National Graduate Entrance Examination in Nanjing University. From March 2008 to September 2008, he visited Microsoft Research Asia as an intern in Machine Learning Group, under supervision of Jian-tao SUN and Gang WANG. His research interests include machine learning, natural language processing, and rough sets.
Now Yangsheng Ji is visiting TIMAN Group supervised by Prof. Zhai.
2002-2006: Bachelor's degree, Department of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University.
2006- : Ph.D. candidate, Department of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University.
2008,3-2008,9: Machine Learning Group, Microsoft Research Asia.
2009-2010: TIMAN Group, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Now I am focusing on Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning, including opinion mining, product review summarization, sentiment classification, transfer learning and semi-supervised learning. I am also interested in manifold learning (related to semi-supervised learning) and some pattern recognition methods.
